JC REformation

Eugenie, Wren, Nathalie and Annette worked on an interactive Haiku database that stores an archive of JC hearings. There will also be information about protocol (and the general JC process), in an effort to increase transparency and rapport between the student body and the committee.

Menstrual PRODUCTS

Earlier this year, Student Government stocked all of the women’s and gender neutral bathrooms with menstrual products (tampons and pads). However, from popular student demand, Student Government is working to increase the quality of these products for the well-being of our students!

Sophomore retreat

The sophomore representatives are working on following last year’s example and having a fun sophomore retreat in the spring.

Instant mac and cheese

More instant lunch options in the WCC. Mac and Cheese!

Lakeside lip dub

A video aimed at bringing all parts of Lakeside Lip-Dubakeside into one. It's a music video where students, staff, administrators, and teahcers mouth the words along with some fun choreography. Hopefully as many Lakesiders as possible can be apart of it.

Parking clarity

Flesh out general parking procedure. What direction do you drive around Stimson? Counterclockwise. Does everyone do that? Not yet.

bench duty and wcc backpack publicity

Fix the issue of students leaving backpacks in the doorway and raise publicity concerning bench duty (i.e. people should show up!)

middle school peer-tutoring

Continued work running the Middle School peer-tutoring program that formally began in 2017.

student art commission

Commissioning art from students to display somewhere; perhaps a number of pieces or one large collaboration.

Senior playlist

A playlist for all of the seniors’ favorite songs. Enjoy!

haiku improvements

Improve consistency of assignment posting on Haiku, formalizing Haiku requirements (particularly for freshmen). 9th Grade teachers will now be required to post all assignments to the Haiku calendar. It is recommended but not mandated for 10th - 12th grades. We will check in once again towards the end of the year to assess the efficacy of the Haiku adjustments.

club clarity

Clarification of general club procedure, from formation to funding. Check out the links page!

fall food drive

On October 10 the freshman class spent a day of service with Food Lifeline; the school-wide food drive helped provide donations for the freshman to bring with them..
